Reformation Salon

Thursday Salon

Prompt: How do the lessons of the Protestant Reformation apply to Christendom today?

Can there be cultural unity in spite of theological differences on this side of heaven? If so, to what extent?

What’s a “salon” you might ask?

Salons are an informal gathering meant for the introduction and exchanging of ideas. Salons have a storied history throughout Europe, commonly held in bars, coffeehouses, and manors.

Salons are not a “lecture” where you are talked to for 90 minutes, while you sit trying not to fall asleep; salons briefly introduce a topic, but then the community adds their insights, comments, follow-ups, etc…
