Salon

Salon at Two Story: Do We Need our Neighbors?

What’s a “salon” you might ask?

Salons are an informal gathering meant for the introduction and exchanging of ideas. Salons have a storied history throughout Europe, commonly held in bars, coffeehouses, and manors.

Salons are not a “lecture” where you are talked to for 90 minutes, while you sit trying not to fall asleep; salons briefly introduce a topic, but then the community adds their insights, comments, follow-ups, etc…

Agenda

6:00-6:30 Social Time. Order Drinks-Mingle-Grab a seat

6:30-6:45 Introduce Topic: Do We Need our Neighbors?

6:45-7:15 Salon discussion

7:15-8:00 Breakout: The formal discussion is “over” but the store will remain open for you to continue socializing / introduce new ideas to the crowd for the next salon.
