What’s a “salon” you might ask?
Salons are an informal gathering meant for the introduction and exchanging of ideas. Salons have a storied history throughout Europe, commonly held in bars, coffeehouses, and manors.
Salons are not a “lecture” where you are talked to for 90 minutes, while you sit trying not to fall asleep; salons briefly introduce a topic, but then the community adds their insights, comments, follow-ups, etc…
